New hair all around

So today we all had our hair cut. Dave had his mum do his, he refuses to pay for a hair cut!! I took the boys to my usual salon, Boosh in Swansea, who I've been going to for over 3 years now. Aeddan only had a little off seeing as he won't sit still, whereas Curig asked for 'a lot off' and sat there, completely still, while the stylist chopped off the majority of my blonde boy's locks.
Then they went off with Dave and mil while I had a couple hours of treating myself to a new style and colour.

Below are the results of our day of shedding hair!

Strange Sighting

My plan is for this to become a regular feature. I'm forever taking pictures of the strange and random things I spot from day to day. Until now I didn't know what to do with those pictures, but now I'm going to share them with you, you lucky people, and make a regular feature of the wacky things out there!

So, this week my strange sighting was a .... Santa's post box I spotted in my local town ... In July! Better get those letters in early kids!!

Life through Curig's lens

Curig has a Kidizoom camera. Most of the pictures are of the floor, his shoes, his toys ... and all are blurry!! But there are a few gems.

New Hair

Not quite walking

By the time Curig was 14 months he was walking and running about. He took his first step two weeks after his first birthday. So we all waited to see if Aeddan would follow suit. At 14 and a half months we're slowly getting there. He's finally standing by himself, can squat and get back up again, he walks quite happily holding your fingers but hasn't yet got the confidence to let go.
I can see how much he's developed over the past couple of months and how much stronger he is. His balance is fantastic now, we just need to work on the confidence.
I did think that seeing his big brother walk around would encourage him, but he's quite happy crawling or walking with someone there to support him.
I does get frustrating when so many people ask if he's walking yet, but I know he'll get there ... and soon I reckon!

Father's Day

The Father's Day card Curig made
(with a little bit of help from mami!)

Curig loves painting and colouring and gluing and sticking at the moment, the crafts box is probably his favourite and the most well-used box he has.
So we made these cards, one for dadi, one for tad-cu and one for grandpa. He then insisted on making butterflies for mam-gu and grandma as well, although we didn't turn them into cards.
